The LG C2 OLED is a high-end TV, and it's the successor to the very popular LG C1 OLED. The Samsung TV, on the other hand, is a better choice for a bright room, as it gets significantly brighter. After calibrating to a D65 white point, the LG C2 has nearly perfect accuracy. The A1 lacks HDMI 2.1 and has a less impressive processor, as well as fewer HDMI inputs (three instead of four) and a 60Hz refresh rate. Series and size information: I performed a hands-on evaluation of the 65-inch OLED C1, but this review also applies to the other screen sizes in the series. Internally, it appears that LG still uses the old versioning system, as the "TV Information" page reports the webOS TV version as version 7.1.0. OLED panel technology has significantly advanced since our real world burn-in test, which used 2017 models, so we don't really know just how likely it is that these TVs will experience burn-in. They have many of the same features and performance, but they use different processors, which we don't test. We tested the 65 inch LG QNED90 (65QNED90), and for the most part, we expect our results to be valid for the 75 inch (75QNED90) and 86 inch (86QNED90) variants as well. TheLG C2 delivers the same excellent picture quality we've come to expect from all OLED TVs. Uniformity: Like all OLEDs I've tested, the C1 was exemplary in this area, with no significant brightness or color variations across the screen and nearly perfect image quality from off-angle. The near-instantaneous response time makes motion look exceptionally clear in fast-moving games and sports, and its low input lag is great for gaming or use as a PC monitor. Like almost all OLED displays, there are some faint vertical lines in very dark scenes. Like any OLED, the LG G1 has a near-instant response time. The C1 is a better gaming TV, with fourHDMI 2.1 ports, support for variable refresh rate technology (VRR), and a 120Hz refresh rate. Above the LFE, the sound profile is fairly balanced in the mid-range but drops off in the treble range, especially at max volume, meaning that some dialogue might sound muted. It has an Auto Low Latency Mode that automatically switches the TV into Game Mode when a game from a compatible device launches. It has okay peak brightness in Game Mode, but small highlights still pop how they should. The image remains accurate at a wide angle, which is great if you're sitting close to the screen, as the edges remain relatively uniform. With HDMI 2.0, it begins at 40Hz.
